Sinotruk organises "Green Future" tree-planting event in Kenya
Recently, Sinotruk, in collaboration with its local distributor CFAO KENYA, organised the "Green Future" tree-planting event in Kenya. The aim of this initiative was to put the concept of sustainable development into practice through concrete actions and to support Kenya's efforts to preserve the environment.
On the day of the event, over 700 participants from the Kenya Forest Service, the International Tree Foundation, local authorities, schools and the community gathered in the Kakamega forest in Iloro. Together, they planted seedlings to restore a hectare of degraded land. In a friendly, collaborative atmosphere, the participants enthusiastically learned tree-planting techniques. Thanks to their teamwork, 1,000 seedlings were successfully planted. These young trees breathe new vitality into the Kakamega forest and raise awareness in the local community of the importance of protecting forests.
A representative of the Kenya Forest Service said at the event: "The Kakamega Forest is an essential ecological resource for Kenya. This tree-planting initiative is not only helping to restore the forest, but is also an example of ecological protection for the local community. We hope to see more collaborations like this in the future, so that together we can preserve our natural environment.
Looking to the future, Sinotruk will continue to uphold its philosophy of sustainable development, working with more partners to actively participate in environmental and social initiatives. Together, they are striving to build a better, more sustainable world.
