SINOTRUK provides aid to earthquake-stricken areas of Myanmar
A magnitude 7.9 earthquake struck on 28 March 2025 at around 12.50pm (Myanmar time), with the epicentre located near the central city of Mandalay. In response, SINOTRUK urgently mobilised a batch of relief supplies to Myanmar to fully support rescue and recovery operations.

On the morning of 1st April, two lorries carrying 40 tonnes of relief supplies left Yangon bound for Mandalay and Naypyidaw.

The aim of the donation is to provide emergency aid to people affected by the earthquake in Myanmar, including essential medicines, mosquito nets, lighting equipment, food and drinking water. The supplies will be delivered to the affected areas by staff from SINOTRUK's representative office in Myanmar, in collaboration with local partners, and then distributed rapidly to help those affected get through this difficult period.
SINOTRUK is actively committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities and supporting humanitarian and disaster relief efforts in countries and regions around the world, including Myanmar. The company will continue to closely monitor the progress of relief and reconstruction operations in the areas affected by the earthquake, and will ensure that the necessary aid reaches the populations concerned.
