1. Objective of the Quality Guarantee

In accordance with the implementing regulations for automotive brand management, the Quality Guarantee aims to continuously improve product after-sales service, promote brand management, strengthen service network construction and maximise customer value.

2. Scope of the Guarantee

This warranty applies to all vehicles manufactured by CNHTC (SINOTRUK) and its subsidiaries.

3. Content and Regulations of the Guarantee

3.1

The warranty period is the period during which the supplier undertakes to replace, free of charge, the parts concerned in the event of defects or damage due to design, manufacture, assembly or materials, provided that the vehicle is used in accordance with the normal rules of use and within its expected lifetime, in order to guarantee normal operation.

3.2

The warranty is only valid if the user strictly complies with the instructions for use and the conditions stipulated in the warranty card. Any breach will automatically result in the loss of warranty rights.

3.3

CNHTC (SINOTRUK) only provides warranties for complete vehicles or chassis (including vehicles modified in modification plants officially designated by SINOTRUK).

3.4

Damage caused by severe overloading or forced use despite the apparent risks will not be covered by the warranty.

3.5

In the event of unauthorised disassembly, replacement or repair by a unit or individual not belonging to the official CNHTC (SINOTRUK) after-sales network, the cause of the damage not being identifiable, the guarantee will be cancelled.

3.6

Normal wear parts excluded from warranty :

  • Worn or burnt brake linings, clutch discs, etc.

  • Consumables: bulbs, fuses, wiper blades, air filters, lenses, etc.

  • Liquids: engine oil, coolant, battery fluid, clutch fluid, etc.

3.7

If the mileage cannot be identified due to a malfunction of the odometer or the control system, a flat-rate calculation will be applied:

  • Road vehicles 400 km/day from the date of purchase;

  • Other vehicles 200 km/day from the date of purchase。

3.8

Vehicles must be serviced for the first time between 2,000 km and 4,000 km.
Thereafter, maintenance should be carried out every 10,000 km (or all 5,000 km for off-road vehicles).
Breakdowns due to lack of maintenance will not be covered by the warranty.

3.9

During any welding operation on vehicle parts, it is imperative to disconnect the battery.
Any damage caused to electrical components as a result of negligence in this respect will not be covered by the warranty.

4. Warranty period for complete trucks

4.1

For road trucks (tractors, rigids) in the HOWO, HOWO A7, HOHAN, HOKA, GOLDEN PRINCEthe guarantee is 1 year or 100,000 km from the date of dispatch (whichever occurs first);

4.2

For tippers and all-terrain trucks of the same brands, the warranty is for 6 months or 60,000 km from the date of dispatch (whichever comes first)。

Claim parts will be supplied by the seller to the customer in his country, in accordance with CNHTC's quality management system. However, local costs and customs duties will be borne by the buyer.
